Fort Pierce--After more than two weeks on break, Talent Quest Florida returned to the road to find
the best of the best in karaoke singers at St. Lucie County's Fenn Center. It was the first time Talent
Quest Florida had ever been held in a community center.
"We couldn't have asked for a nicer facility," said Phil Garris, head judge and co-owner of the
contest. "It was great getting back out there and we heard some great talent."
The contest was packed with men and women in the pop and country categories. However,the
50-plus categories were a little sparce.
"There were some great singers in Fort Pierce and a lot of really great people involved," said Steve
Blanchard, Talent Quest Florida co-owner and emcee. "It was a fun crowd and the talent was pretty
strong."
The Talent Quest Florida 2009 Regional Finals are once again at The Ritz Ybor in Tampa July 10, 11,
and 12. Contestants advance to the regionals for free. Tickets to the finals are available on our
