Once again, Talent Quest Florida will bring the
best karaoke singers in the state of Florida to
the newly remodeled Ritz Ybor this summer. We
recently confirmed Aug. 22 -24 as the dates for
Talent Quest Florida's State Regional finals.
Local qualifiers have already started and several
venues throughout the state are still considering
joining us in 2008. Winners from those local
competitions will advance to the regional
contest this summer. Make sure you check out
our "venues" page regularly to see these
additional local competitions.
Talent Quest Florida is a regional karaoke
competition that feeds into the national contest
in Laughlin, Nevada. Last year we sent a small
army to the national competition and walked
away with three singers in the top 20!
We're hoping to do even better this year.
Our annual competition has turned into a
must-see event in the state and our family of
contestants, sponsors, judges and volunteers
continue to grow. If you are new to Talent Quest
Florida, welcome to our family. We're looking

| Men dominate 7.14 Local finals in Ybor City |

YBOR CITY Lounge 7.14 was packed with supporters for local singers June 2 in
categories dominated by the men.
Men's contemporary and 50-and-Over had the most contestants on the evening and
several of the participants qualified for the Regional Finals.
"We saw some familiar faces tonight and several new ones," said Phil Garris, TQFL
co-owner. "Some of our singers really had the look down to go with their songs and they
seemed prepared for the regionals."
Locals still wanting to qualify can do so at three Tampa Bay area venues. Check out the
venue page for more information.
